Hm. According to my inbox, All Hotties Love Big Schlongs. This sounds weirdly like a mnemonic to me, along the lines of Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge or Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain. But I'm not sure what it's a mnemonic FOR. "AHLBS." Hm.

In other news, I have become the biggest interview jinx on staff. It's starting to bug me. I volunteered to interview Paul Giamatti; it fell through. Volunteered to interview JJ Abrams; it fell through. Volunteered to interview Vince Vaughan; it fell through. On Friday I volunteered to interview Sheryl Crow today. That one looked like it was actually going to happen. Then this morning, I got stuck on a train for half an hour due to switching problems, and had to call in to work and alert them that I might not be in by the time she called. They put someone else on the interview… and it STILL fell through. The one interview I've successfully done in the last six weeks or so, Glen Hansard, was cancelled, was rescheduled, and finally wound up happening late, short, and without his partner, who was also supposed to be in on the interview. And then something went wrong with the recording and there was a loud metallic buzz over it, and transcribing it turned out to be a vicious toothy bitch. Is there an invisible albatross around my neck right now? You all would tell me if I smelled of dead albatross, right?

In other OTHER news, waysofseeing's graphic PSAs about baby care made me laugh over the weekend until I hurt myself. My lungs are now in a sling, and I blame him. Recommended for anyone who didn't realize that babies do not like air horns.
